Welcome to Freedom Lake! The lake is open to Season Pass holders, or LaGrange Resident Day Passes, and their paying guests. Photo ID and proof of residency with a property tax or utility bill is required each year.
Our lake is an aquifer pure water source which boasts a beautiful sand beach, picnic tables, grills, swim lanes, slides, diving board, volleyball, table tennis and a play structure.
All park general rules and regulations and swimming rules apply when using the lake. Town of LaGrange park staff have final authority to enforce rules as deemed necessary. Thank you for respecting our staff and other patrons. We wish you an enjoyable park experience with your friends and family.
Helpful Hints
-IMPORTANT! ***** Sr Citizens age 62> and Children 2<****** These age groups appear first in the registration process and have their own membership category in the system as they are FREE for residents. You must click these family members first. But, DO NOT include them in the overall family count (listed below) that you pay for or you will be overcharged.
For Example: For a family of four with a 2 year old, select the two year old family member first, then proceed to select the family of three option!
*****PHOTO REQUIREMENTS:
-Photos must be individual, not group photo
-Photos must be clear, front facing
No driver's license or ID card uploads accepted!
-Think passport-style photo
-Selfies work fine. Grab your cell, take a pic and send! :)
***** PRIOR PASS HOLDERS ***** If you have had a tag in prior seasons, your tag will be reactivated following purchase of your 2024 pass. If you have lost your tag, you must call the office. There is a $5.00 tag replacement fee per tag.
First time pass holder - tags will be available after April 29th in the Recreation Office in LaGrange Town Hall during normal business hours.
A household is a family with up to 2 parents and their unmarried children under 24 years of age living permanently in the residence; if there are multiple generations living at the same residence, each must purchase their own pass/program registration. If a family membership is purchased, it is for a family unit as defined above and no additional individuals may be put on the pass.
