Under the professional instruction and guidance of the LaGrange Conservation Advisory Council, each participant will build a functional bluebird box. All materials and instructions provided, including a 7’ green garden stake to attach the box to. When completed, the box can be brought home and placed outside for bluebirds to nest in. It is such a joy to watch these beautiful birds!
Limited to just 8 participants, ages 8 and over, an adult helper is required to attend (and assist only when needed, we encourage independence when possible). ***Please bring a hammer.***
We will be outside under the Main Pavilion in Freedom Park, 212 Skidmore Road, Pleasant Valley NY. Please note water will not yet be turned on in the park so there is no restroom.
